Recam Láser Caldes 4–5 FC Barcelona: Semi-finalists!

Barça are through to the OK Liga playoff semi-finals, but they did it the hard way, with a nail-biting win at Recam Làser Caldes. Next up is a game against the winner of Reus Esportiu Virginias and Finques Prats Lleida.

Edu Castro had warned that this game was going to be a toughie, but goals from Pau Bargallò, Helder Nunes and Sergi Panadero, coupled with some top goalkeeping from Sergi Fernández got his side off to a commanding early lead.

But Caldes refused to lie down and a couple of goals from Ferran Rosa, the second a penalty, got them right back into contention and Sito Ricard then completed a counter attack to incredibly get the home side back level.

A Pau Bargellò spearheaded the blaugrana reaction, and there was still the whole second half to go !

The goals eased off after the break, but not the quality of the hockey. It was all about the two goalkeepers until Ferran Rosa scored again to get the sides level at 4-4.

But it was a mere moment before Barça pounced back. Ignacio Alabart scored the fifth and definitive goal that secured a dramatic.
