Barça Lassa are no strangers to the later stages of European competition but that does not mean that reaching the Final Four of the Europa League for the seventh time is not something worth shouting about. Edu Castro’s sealed their place in the last four of the competition with a 5-1 win over Italian side Follonica in the second leg of their quarter final.

The great atmosphere in the Palau Blaugrana inspired the players and goals from Matías Pascual, Alabart, Bargalló, Lucas Ordoñez and Barroso grabbed the goals which see Barça Lassa through.

The home side took control of the game early on and never relinquished it. Goals in the first half from Matías Pascual and Alabart gave the blaugranes a lead at the break.

Their advantage was stretched in the second half by Bargalló before the Italians pulled one back to make it 3-1. However, goals from Lucas Ordoñez and Barros secured the win and now they will face either Reus or Liceo in the semi-final with the other seeing Porto take on Sporting.
