Igualada Calaf Grup v FC Barcelona Lassa: Big win to stay top (0-4)

The roller hockey side made light work of their away trip to earn yet another victory

FC Barcelona Lassa roller hockey coasted to a comfortable win on Saturday away at Igualada Calaf Grup, a victory which sees them maintain their spot at the top of the division.

Ricard Muñoz’s men started brightly as ever but had to be patient to get that crucial opener. Eventually it came on 13 minutes, through that man Marc Gual. Just three minutes later, Lucas was on hand to hit home the rebound from a deflected shot to open up a healthy margin for the visitors.

Bargalló made it 3-0 on 20 minutes, and it was just what Barça deserved after dominating the opening stages of the match. The second half saw the Catalans continue in the same vein, showing the same signal of intent from the off.

Inevitably, the fourth of the night came on 28 minutes through Pablo Alvarez, just moments after he had missed from a direct free kick, to put the game well and truly to bed.
