FC Barcelona Lassa v Alcobendas: The Catalans stretch winning run and remain on top of the league (7-3)

Ricard Muñoz's men maintained their perfect start against Alcobendas, a team which hadn't played at the Palau Blaugrana for twelve years

FC Barcelona Lassa have added another victory to their perfect start having beaten Alcobendas 7-3 in the sixth OK Lliga fixture of the season. From the start Barça attacked with purpose and put Alcobendas under pressure. They slowly converted this pressure into tangible rewards with Pau Bargalló scoring in the fifth minute and Matías Pascual helping a Marc Gual shot into the net.

Alcobendas, who were playing at the Palau for the first time in twelve years following their promotion to the top league, responded and had chances of their own. Marcos López and David Florent got the visiting team back on level terms. Muñoz's men moved up a gear with goals from Matías Pascual and Lucas Ordóñez giving Barça a 4-2 lead at the end of the first half.

Dominant second half confirms victory

The second half was all Barça and Sergi Panadero extended the lead in the 29th minute with his second goal of the season in the OK Lliga from a free-kick. The team from Madrid's spirited display was rewarded with another goal before Pascual scored for the third time in the game when he finished off a rapid counterattack with aplomb.

Lucas Ordóñez got Barça's seventh and final goal and goalkeeper, Sergi Fernández, saved a penalty from Alcobendas' Marcos López. The Catalans continue their perfect start with their sixth victory in a row and will face Manlleu, who are 8th in the OK Lliga at the Palau.
