The Barça players celebrating one of the goals / CE NOIA FREIXENET

Barça Lassa remain on course for the OK League title with an excellent away win at a Noia side who are themselves pushing for a European place. The victory for Ricard Muñoz’s team keeps their winning run going with Matías Pascual impressing with a hat-trick.

It took just 40 seconds for Barça to take the lead with Marc Gual giving them the early advantage. Pablo Álvarez and Pascual then added a second and third to leave the blaugranes in control. By the time Noia opened their account for the evening, Ordoñez and Álvarez had made it 5-0 to the visitors.

The home side continued to struggle in the second half and in the blink of an eye they were 8-1 down. A mini fightback saw them pull back two goals in quick succession before Xavi Barroso rounded off the scoring for Barça to give them their 20th win in the OK league.
