Ricard Muñoz’side are in fine form, and after winning the Copa del Rey and being on the verge of the European Final Four after thumping Liceo (6-0), they returned to OK Liga duty with a fine win at Sant Hipòlit. Goals from Gual and Pablo Álvarez got things off the perfect start and Lucas Ordoñez and Panadero ensured that Barça have now gone unbeaten in fourteen league matches and have a five-point lead over Vic at the top of the table.

Voltregà, however, proved to be as tough an opponent as ever, and battled hard to salvage some honour despite the four-goal deficit. And after coming close several times, they finally stole one goal back with two minutes to go, converted by a player on loan from FC Barcelona, Ignacio Alabart.

The win came on the third anniversary of Ricard Muñoz’s first game in charge of the roller hockey team. Since then, he and Edu Castro have led the team to ten different titles.
