Great news for the roller hockey team! Not only did they beat Vic, who they now leap-frog at the top of the OK Liga table, but Liceo, with whom they were tied on points, lost 3-2 at home to Igualada.

The clash between two of the prime candidates for the title was always going to be a quality affair, and so it was, although Panadero drew first blood after 13 minutes, and it was Barça all the way from there.

They controlled the lead to perfection, with solid hockey in offence and defence, and in the final throes of the match, sealed three absolutely crucial points.

Gual scored FCB’s second with ten minutes to go and shortly after, Panadero converted for the second time of the night.  The win leaves them on 30 points and top of the table, one more than Vic and three more than Liceo, who they meet in the first game of the new year on January 9.
