Igualada HC – FC Barcelona: The title slips away in the last match of the season (1-3)

It wasn’t meant to be. Barça were unable to complete what proved to be an impossible title comeback in the last match of the season. The team led by Ricardo Muñoz did what they had to, win the three points, in their visit to Igualada HC but luck wasn’t on their side as HC Liceo, the leaders going into the last round of the season, also managed to win the three points. After this evening’s round of results, HC Liceo were crowned champions of the league.
