With only 48 hours to go before the Club retires the first roller hockey jersey in the history of the institution, Beto Borregán admitted that he’s anxious for the ceremony to begin. The now retired player said “when I used to play I wasn’t very nervous” and he went on to say that he feels “privileged” but that this acknowladgement to his career is “for the whole roller hockey team.”

Free entry

The match against Blanes will start at 18.00 and the tribute to Borregán will start afterward. If you’re interested in attending all you need to do is make your way to the access gate of the Palau Blaugrana, entry into the arena is free.

Borregán’s will be the 10th jersey in Club history to be retired. Up until now only Epi, Solozábal, Jiménez, Dueñas, Barrufet, Grau, O’Callaghan, Masip and Urdangarín have had the honour of having their names immortalised at the Palau Blaugrana.
