A legend is leaving is leaving the sport. Beto Borregán will say goodbye after 18 years of professional roller hockey. The last match of the OK Liga will be played at Sant Saurní Anoia but the Palau will host the second to last match of the year against the Barça’s strongest rival in the competition, Coinasa Liceo. Liceo eliminated Barça from the European competition earlier this season.

With the title already won

Barça and Liceo will face each other once against after the Azulgranas lost to Liceo in Lodi in the European League (2-4). This time the teams will face in the OK Liga, a competition that already has a winner. Barça beat Liceo in La Coruña in the first half of the season by 4-6, and tomorrow the Catalans want to win at the Palau to send off the Borregán in style.

The Club have announced that number of the Barça captain will be retired next season and that Borregán will get a tribute from the fans and the team before the match. Furthermore, the player will get an honour guard from Liceo - and give the visiting team one as well- as a recognition to Liceo for their European League victory.

At the end of the match, the Royal Spanish Skating Federation will award FC Barcelona the trophy of the OK Liga, a title that’s given to the best team in Spain. It will be the third trophy that Gaby Cairo’s men will lift this season after the Spanish Super Cup and the Copa del Rey.

Liceo, the strongest rival

The team from La Coruña, who are in the second position of the table, come into the match at the Palau Blaugrana with sky-high morale after winning the European Leauge. Without the Argentine Matías Pascual, injured, Liceo travel to Barcelona to play in a spectacular and emotional match in the penultimate game of the OK Liga.
