Barça v Reus


The blaugrana reclaimed dominance in the Liga after putting up some incredible stats: 27 victories, one draw and only two defeats all season long. They also set a new all-time in the OK Liga goalscoring record when they netted 207 goals. They only allowed 66 goals. Barça would become champions four games from the completion of the schedule.

Ricard Muñoz’s men started off their Liga campaign in perfect fashion as they won their first right games and scoring an average of seven goals per game. After drawing away to Noia Freixenet in the ninth round (1-1), Barça secured 10 more consecutive victories. Victories away to Reus Deportiu (2-7), and at home against Coinasa Liceo (4-2) gave the blaugrana a huge advantage in the standings.

The 25th Liga title

The second half of the season nearly mirrored the first. Barça were consistent and defeated Reus Deportiu at home (8-4), and shortly after were mathematical champions of the competition on Round 25 of the season.

This was the first OK Liga won under manager Ricard Muñoz and it also be remembered because of Pablo Álvarez. The Argentinian forward became the all-tim goalscorer in the history of the OK Liga.
