CH Sant Esteve Sesrovires – FC Barcelona Lassa: Into the final (21-32)

Xavi Pascual's team have made it to the final of the final of the Catalan Super Cup where they will face BM Granollers on 18 October

FC Barcelona Lassa left no room for doubt with an excellent 32-21 win over CH Sant Esteve Sesrovires in the semi-finals of the Catalan Super Cup. An excellent performance in attack and in defence means they will now take on BM Granollers in the final to be played on 18 October.

In the first half Dika Mem, Ariño and Lenne helped Barça build a lead against a Sant Esteve Sesrovires side who boasted five former blaugranes amongst their squad. By the break, Xavi Pascual’s team led by six at 17-11.

In the second half the game followed the same script. Barça’s advantage continued to grow. Coach Pascual gave some valuable playing time to young players such as Buzle and Pere Vaquer. Valero Rivera ended the game as top scorer with eight goals as the Catalan Super Cup will be decided between Barça and BM Granollers on 18 October.
