Barça Lassa handball were held to a draw in Guadalajara in the Asobal League bringing to an end their run of 133 straight wins the competition. Third place Guadalajara showed just why they are in third place in the table this season with an excellent performance to hold the blaugranes.

At half-time, all appeared to be going well for the blaugranes with Víctor Tomás, Valero Rivera and N’Guessan all in fine form to give the visitors a 17-13 lead at the break.

However, in the second half the game opened up with attacks flowing at both ends. The home side took advantage and soon the scores were level at 22-22. Guadalajara continued to press and Barça Lassa were under pressure with keeper Pérez de Vargas making more than one excellent save to avoid a victory for the home side. Despite losing their winning record, the blaugranes remain top of the Asobal league.
