Barça Lassa picked up a crucial 24-32 win in game nine of the VELUX EHF Champions League against PPD Zagreb on Thursday night. After losing their previous two European fixtures, it was a huge boost to defeat the Croatians and stay among the front-runners in Group A, where they are now second with 12 points and just three points of leaders Vardar, but with one more game played than their direct rivals.

That brings an end to a busy week with four away fixtures in just nine days, and made for a ninth win in the last ten visits to Zagreb.
