A convincing win for Barça Lassa away at Frigoríficos Morrazo and Xavi Pascual’s side remain league leaders thanks to their 31-21 victory. Excellent in defence and with Gonzalo Pérez de Vargas in inspired form in goal and Valero Rivera equally clinical in front of goal, the blaugranes recorded consecutive victory number 129 in the Asobal League.

The visitors took control in the first half and soon the blaugranes boasted a 16-5 lead. Viran Morros and Pérez Vargas kept Barça impregnable at the back and with Dika Mem and Rivera providing the bullets up front, it was all one way traffic.

The second half followed a similar script with the visitors extending their lead to 10 goals which they managed to maintain until the end to record an important win on the return to action after the recent international break.
