The VELUX EHF Champions League came back to the Palau Blaugrana with a bang. Two months after the last game there, Barça Lassa beat Hungarian side Pick Szeged 30-25 by riding a great start to the second half all the way to victory.

Wael Jallouz and Kiril Lazarov bagged a game-high six goals each. With two games left in the group stage, Barça lead Group B with nine wins and thus depend on themselves to qualify for a direct trip to the quarter-finals.

FCB will now have two chances to make that prospect a reality when they go on the road to face Swedish team Kristianstad before hosting German side Rhein-Neckar Lowen at the Palau.
