FC Barcelona Lassa powered to victory away to Bada Huesca in Wednesday’s midweek league fixture. After a tight first half, there was only one team in it after the break and the Catalans eventually sealed things to the tune of a 28-40 win. It was the perfect way to bounce back from defeat in the first Champions League game of the season, and consolidates Barça’s place at the top of the table and extends their winning run in the league to a humungous 65 games.

Saric was especially impressive this evening, with a 50% success rate, while Sigurdsson led the way in the scoring stakes with seven, followed by Jallouz and Víctor Tomás with five. With a 4-0 record in the Liga Asobal, attention now switches back to Europe and the visit of Sweden’s IFK Kristianstad on Saturday at 6.45pm CET.
