FC Barcelona beat Besiktas Mogatz 29-25 in the final game of the first phase in the Champions League. The game had no effect on the standings since Barça had already locked up a berth in the last 16 and Besiktas had already been mathematically eliminated. Barça rolled to victory in what was Oriol Rey's European debut while Tomás, Karabatic, Sorhaindo and Entrerríos did not play.
