Under ‘Zupo’ Equisoain
Global Caja Ciudad Encantada finished tenth in the last edition of the Liga Asobal.
Now being coached for the fourth season by ‘Zupo’ Equisoain, the man who led San Antonio de Pamplona to European glory, the side from Cuenca will be FCB’s opening day rivals.
The fixtures
Their first road trip is for day two and a visit to BM Villa de Aranda. Game three brings them back to Palau Blaugrana for the toughest game so far, at home to the side that placed fourth last season, Reale Ademar.
The first Catalan derby of the season will be in mid October when Barça go to Fraikin Granollers.
The game at home to Naturhouse La Rioja, who finished third in 2012/13, brings the first half of the competition to a close.
