FC Barcelona players dominate European scoring

With just the semis and the final left to play, it’s FC Barcelona players that are shining at the European Championship in Denmark. The five top scorers in the competition include three from the Catalan giants.
101 goals
The three Barça handball players that are in the top five have scored 101 goals between them in six matches.
Kiril Lazarov is Barça’s top scorer with 38, placing him second behind only Iceland’s Sigurdsson on 44. Siarhei Rutenka is third with 34 goals and Víctor Tomás is fifth with 29. And it’s a former FCB man, Joan Cañellas, who’s fourth with 32 goals.

Kiril Lazarov has scored the second highest number of penalties, 16, only topped by Joli of France, who has 18. Rutenka has scored 13 goals from the 7-meter mark.
When adding goals and assists, Lazarov comes second with 60 points, Nikola Karabatic is third with 53 points (averaging 4.7 assists a game) and Rutenka is fourth with 52 points. But top of this list is another former FCB man, Mikel Hansen, who has 64 points.
Viran Morros is second in the ranking of blocked shots, with an average of two a game.
