FC Barcelona’s handball team and the player Siarhei Rutenka have come to an agreement to extend the player’s contract through the 2015/16 season.

The same can be said of Cedric Sorhaindo and Daniel Sarmiento, both of whom will renew their contracts through the 2014/15 season.

Working for the future

The contract extensions are part of the team’s long-term strategy, planned by the technical director of the team, to maintain the current squad.

Rutenka, Sorhaindo and Sarmiento are the latest players to pen contract extensions this season as Juanín García, Magnus Jernemyr, Jesper Noddoebo, Víctor Tomás, Raúl Entrerríos, Daniel Saric and Albert Rocas have all agreed to stay on with the Club earlier this season.
