FC Barcelona qualified for the Final Four of the Copa del Rey after comfortably defeating Villa de Aranda in the knock-out round (26-39) and Fertiberia Puerto Sagunto in the quarterfinals. In the first leg, Pascual’s men finished with a 21-goal advantage (21-42), and secured passage to Final Four in the second leg thanks to a 44 to 27 scoreline.

18th Cup title

The blaugrana didn’t let up in the final and secured yet another Cup title. The the semifinal Barça defeated Helvetia Anaitasuna by 28 to 36. In the final they took on BM Granollers, and defeated them 42 to 32. Barça have won 18 Cup titles, and reclaimed the trophy they hadn’t won since 2010.
