A day after thumping Győri ETO of Hungary 7-0, FC Barcelona Lassa have made it two wins out of two in Group 4 of the UEFA Futsal Cup Main Round.

The latest victims were Era-Pack Chrudim, winners of seven of the last eight editions of the Czech Liga Futsalu, and although the Catalans still have one more game to play, against host club Luparense of Padua, Italy, they have already done enough to secure a place in the all-important Elite Round.

But this was certainly a much tougher game for the blaugrana, who dominated the first half, and had to overcome Roger being sin-binned too, but were unable to break the deadlock before the interval.

The only goals of the game came within the space of a minute, on the half-hour an unmarked Ferrao converted into an empty goal and Joselito had made it two before the Czechs had even had time to assimilate the first goal.

Rush goalie tactics from Chrudim towards the end created plenty of late drama, but no futher developments in terms of goals, and Barça can start thinking about the next round of Europe’s premier club competition.
