Dyego and Bruno Taffy fight for the ball / PALMA FUTSAL

FC Barcelona Futsal suffered a 2-1 defeat at Son Moix against Palma Futsal on Sunday afternoon.

Ferrao gave Barça the ideal start with a goal on 23 minutes, settling the nerves of Carmona’s men after an even beginning to the match.

However, the lead lasted just eight minutes as Bruno Taffy’s cross found Sergio at the back post for a quick response from the home side to make it 1-1.

As Barca went in pursuit of a winner, goalkeeper Saad moved forward to try to push the team towards a decisive goal. Yet it was Palma who would grab the points as Vadillo’s interception and subsequent strike handed the home team a 2-1 winner moments from the end.

Despite the loss, Barça stay second in the table with an eleven point advantage over ElPozo Múrcia.
