The Barça Lassa futsal team failed in their bid to get off to the best ever start to a Liga season when they went down 3-1 to unbeaten Inter Movistar.

The Catalans were playing catch-up after conceding two early goals, one from Ricardinho and another from Pola, with the added concern of Sergio Lozano going off injured in between.

Aicardo was able to get Barça back in contention with his eighth goal of the season, this one coming courtesy of a double-penalty. But this was Inter Movistar’s day and just a minute later Rivillos has re-established a two-goal difference at 3-1.

The second half was an action packed affair but there would be no further scoring from either side. Marc Carmona now has to turn his attention to the quarter final of the Copa del Rey on Thursday against CFS Peñíscola at the Palau Blaugrana (9.00pm CET).
