Dyego and Lozano celebrating Barça's first goal / VICTOR SALGADO-FCB

Barça Lassa futsal team continue in unstoppable form. With this latest victory they have know collected 18 points from a possible 18 in the league. Marc Carmona’s team had to come from behind against a battling Santiago Futsal who went 2-0 up against the home side in the Palau Blaugrana. The blaugranes showed their character and will to win with a comeback victory thanks to goal from Dyego, Lozano with two and Aicardo.

The early chances fell to the home side with Lozano, Wilde and Lin all having the opportunity to put Barça ahead. However, it was the Galicians, well disciplined in defence, who struck first. Diego Quintela put them 1-0 up after 14 minutes, a player signed by Barça in the summer but loaned back to Santiago for the season. Lozano and Ferrao then hit the woodwork with efforts before Quintela struck again to double the visitors’ lead, this time with a header from an Antonio cross.

Marc Carmona and his team continued to search for a breakthrough and with just a minute to go before half time, Dyego made it 2-1. The blaugranes went off at the break behind for the first time this season, determined to turn things around in the second half.

Almost immediately Lozano brought Barça level from the penalty spot. With plenty of time remaining, the momentum was with FC Barcelona Lassa. When the home side did take the lead, it was a great strike from Aicardo that put them in front following good work from Wilde. Now 3-2 down, Santiago sought to come back with an equaliser but with the Palau now on fire and Barça in the ascendency, it was Lozano who found the net again to make it 4-2. That was how it ended and now Carmona’s side have 18 points from six games, joint top of the league with Inter Movistar who they face next Saturday.
