Lassa FC Barcelona futsal debuted in the Masters Cup with a defeat. Marc Carmona's team went ahead twice on the scoreboard but watched Benfica equalise both times before prevailing. It was Barça's second game of the preseason and on Sunday at 6.00 CET they'll be back in action versus Sporting Lisbon.
Sergio Lozano scored after five minutes but Benfica answered right back with a goal from Patias that just beat Cristian, sending the game into the break tied at 1–1.
Four minutes after halftime Ferrao put Barça back up but Brandi drew Benfica back level once again in the 27th to make it a 2–2 game. Coelho then put the hosts up to stay with eight minutes to play, while Barça's efforts to tie it up bore no fruit.
