Barça Lassa celebrating their second goal / Juan Carlos Berlanga - CATGAS SANTA COLOMA

Barça Lassa have taken the first round in the play off battle against local rivals Catgas Santa Coloma. Two goals from Sergio Lozano gave the blaugranes victory after Corvo had leveled things up for the home side in the second half. The game was an open affair, worthy of a league title play off and with this win, Marc Carmona’s side could make it to the next round as early as Friday if they win the second encounter at the Palau Blaugrana.

Barça Lassa started out switched on in the encounter with Wilde enjoying two chances early on. The home side were finding it difficult to get into the game and fell behind in the 7th minute when Sergio Lozano found the net after good work from Lin.
Half way through the first half things calmed down with Barça keeper Sedano making important stops to keep his side ahead. Ferrao had an excellent chance to double the lead but he was unable to take it with the first half ending with the blaugranes 1-0 up.

In the second half Marc Carmona’s side dominated but Santa Coloma managed to level things up when Corvo found the net in the 26th minute. Both sides struck the woodwork as they vied to take the lead. Dyego could have given Barça the win but it was Sergio Lozano who found the net to give the blaugranes the win ahead of the second game at home on Friday.
