Dyego in action at Burela / BURELA FS

The Barça Lassa futsal side took another convincing victory, this time away from home against Burela. Marc Carmona’s team were solid and ruthless against a team who had not lost at home all season. Dyego, Aicardo, Bateria, Lin and an own goal from Hélder completed the comfortable win for the blaugranes.

Barça needed the victory away in Galicia after two consecutive draws at home in the Palau Blaugrana. The visitors were also looking for the win to end the first half of the season in second place in the table, ensuring that they are seeded for the Spanish Cup.

Carmona’s team got the early lead they were looking for thanks to Dyego, assisted by Wilde. That strike was a declaration of intent and from then on the blaugranes dominated. Chances to add to their lead came and went before Aicardo added a second just before the break.

After half time the script remained the same. Wilde lead a quick counter and Line made it 3-0 to the visitors. The home side sacrificed their keeper in the hope of inspiration but Barça’s defensive solidity was ever present.

Bateria took advantage of a gift from the Burela defence to score a fourth from his own half. The win was rounded off with an unfortunate own goal from Hélder to allow Barça to remain the best side in the league away from home with 35 goals scored in six out of seven wins on the road.
