Barça’s futsal team got off to a storming start in their Indonesia tour by cruising to a 14-2 victory against Felda United of Malaysia. After Jesús Aicardo found the net in the very first minute, the goals didn’t stop flowing.
The game marked the debuts of both Bateria and Rafa Usín, who also got a goal each for their new club. Wilde, Saad and young Pacheco netted twice and Aicardo, Lozano, Ortego, Lin and Ferrao scored the rest.
First overseas tour
The six-day trip to Indonesia is their first ever foreign tour for the futsal team. After beating Felda United, Marc Carmona has two more games to prepare for, one against the Indonesia national team and the other versus Thai Port FC. It will help get the team into shape for the Copa Catalunya on September 4 and the start of the LFNS against Levante UD DM.
