The Barça futsal team have spent two hours in the company of a group of children from Jakarta. Ferrao, Rafa Usín and Ortego, plus coach Marc Carmona and his assistants revealed a number of secrets as they guided a group of 40 children aged five to fifteen through a series of training exercises.

Different sections

The children were divided into different groups to work their way around a circuit of sections, each designed to develop specific skills areas with the Barça players. From dribbling to shooting and warm-up drills, and even a special section on goalkeeping, there was plenty for the youngsters to learn about a sport that is still in its infancy in this part of the world.

The two-hour session was undoubtedly a major boost for the players, who have learned from the best teachers they could wish for, and was also a fun reminder for the players of the days when they too were just starting out in this sport.
