Before the team lunch, Marc Carmona  and seven FC Barcelona players visited the offices of the sports newspaper Bola, the most widely read in Indonesia. The chief editor of the publication explained to Cristian, Wilde, Lozano, Bateria, Gabriel, Saad, Lin and coach Carmona about the different publications they produce. Bola is a daily newspaper that also produces weekly and monthly publications, and, is the leader in sports coverage in Indonesia

Matches unveiled

The purpose of the visit was to promote the matches which will take place from Friday on at the Tennis Indoor Stadium, and also to promote futsal in the country. In addition, the fact that the team belongs to FC Barcelona is one of the points that has generated most interest amongst Indonesian journalists

Keen to get to know about futsal

The Barça representatives were interviewed by a group of Bola journalists, with varied interests. They wanted to know first hand the differences and similarities between futsal and football, who is the Messi of the team, the possible differences between Spanish and Brazilian players due to the great rivalry between the two countries, when or why they began to play futsal, amongst other questions.

All this was carried out in a really cordial atmosphere and with a little patience to be able to translate all the questions and answers correctly.

Leisure time

Before the visit, and taking advantage of the rest period that Carmona let his players have, some of them organised a PlayStation championship with the FIFA game. Some players showed great skill and mastery in the game but the Final was between Sergio Lozano, who played with Manchester United, and Bateria, with Liverpool. The game was really close and was decided almost in stoppage time, but Bateria won the championship this time. Lozano wants revenge, and he’ll get his chance soon
