Wilde was the star of the game with a hat trick / LNFS

The Barça futsal side are through to the semi-finals of the Spanish Cup. The blaugranes were always in control against Aspil-Vidal Ribera Navarra and at 3-0 up at half time, the final result was never seriously in doubt. A fourth in the second half cemented the victory for Marc Carmona’s side and at the same time reiterated their credentials as one of the favourites for the title.

The groundwork for the win was laid down in the first half. Lin and Sergio Lozano could have opened the scoring before Wilde did just that with an excellent effort from a tight angle to beat rival keeper Molina. The team from Navarra then had a chance to level things up when they were awarded a penalty for a foul on Roger Serrano in the area. Andresito stepped up to take the spot kick but his effort was brilliantly saved by Barça keeper Paco Sedano. The Navarrans were then dealt a blow when Wilde grabbed a second after good work from Sergio Lozano. Before half time Bateria scored a wonderful solo effort, skipping away from no less than three defenders, to hand the blaugranes an unassailable 3-0 advantage at the break.

Wilde hat trick

In the second half Aspil-Vidal Ribera Navarra sacrificed their keeper in an attempt to get themselves back into the contest. They had plenty of the ball after the re-start but were unable to beat an immense Paco Sedano. Barça. meanwhile, continued to create chances going forward but without the precision finishing of the first half. Nevertheless, after an excellent team move Wilde was able to claim his hat trick and make the final score 4-0 to Marc Carmona’s side. Their reward is a semi-final against Magna Navarra.
