The Palacio de los Deportes in Murcia will be packed to the brim (18:30 Esport3, BarçaTV, MarcaTV, LaOtra and 7RM) for the fourth match of the final series between ElPozo Murcia and FC Barcelona Alusport. The local team want to take advantage of the fact that they’ll be playing in front of their home crowd against the only team that managed to beat them this season. Carmona’s players, who have won almost everything this year - they only let the Spanish Super Cup slip away - want to end the season with more silverware, and for that to happen they'll have to close out the series against ElPozo in Murcia.

This afternoon’s match could be Javi Rodríguez’ last match in a Barça Alusport kit. After six years with the Azulgranas, Rodríguez will leave Marc Carmona’s team. Rodríguez broke the news in an emotinal press conference last week.

How FC Barcelona Alusport come into the match

Physical fatigue will play a crucial role for Barça in the fourth game against ElPozo. However, the Azulgranas have been able to overcome their fatigue time and time again this season. Barça Alusport are a strong mental team and they want to close out a very long and drawn out Liga season. It would be the perfect ending to an impressive season.

Ari Santos will be the focus of attention this afternoon. The Brazilian, who recovered from a sprain in the semifinal series against Inter Movistar, picked up a muscle injury in his right leg in the series against Murcia. The fact of the matter is that Santos has had little time to recover from his injury, but the team is facing the final two matches of the season and if Carmona needs Santos, the player will do his best to be on the court.

Lozano and Igor are struggling to maintain match fitness as well. The Madrid-born player, with 39 goals, is the Pichichi of the team this season in the Liga. Will he get his 40th this afternoon? The other player that will be the focus of attention is Wilde. The Brazilian, who was provoked by Duda’s men in the second match of the series, did not control his reaction and was suspended for the third game of the series. Wilde will be back on the court this afternoon after his suspension and he’ll be more eager than ever to make an impact. The ex-ElPozo player wants to be decisive.

The rival

ElPozo are a fearsome team. The Murcianos have managed to see off each an ever team that they’ve come up against in the playoffs. Their obsession is the Liga title, an important title, perhaps the most important after the UEFA Futsal Cup. If ElPozo claim the crown it would be the first title this season for a team that are used to winning multiple trophies each year.

Duda’s players are lethal on the counter. The pace of men like Alex, highest goal scorer of the playoffs with 12 goals - 4 of them against Barça- Miguel or De Bali make ElPozo a particularly difficult team to defend against. However, the speed with which ElPozo strikes sometimes plays against them as it has forces unnecessary turnovers.
