After Barça Alusport’s brilliant performance in the Elite Round, the team will have to wait to resume their UEFA Futsal Cup bid until the competition resumes in April. The venue for the Final Four has yet to be determined.

Going into the Final Four, the Russian team is the favourite, along with Barça, to win the UEFA Futsal Cup. In the Elite Round, Dinamo Moskva secured their spot in the Final Four in agonizing fashion. The Russian team needed one point from their last game in the group stage, with 30 seconds to go Dinamo Moskva managed to draw level with Kaira, thus ensuring their passage to the Final Four. They won their previous two matches. Dinamo Moskva is a powerful, resourceful team. Vinicius (ex-El Pozo), Cirilo, Pula, Rahimov and Fernandinho are some of the assets the Spanish manager, Tino Pérez has at his disposal.

Marca Futsal, reigning champion of the powerful Italian League, downed the current European champion, Montesilvano, in the final group stage match (2-2). A draw was all that was needed to progress to the Final Four, a loss would have eliminated the Italian side. The legendary Foglia and the keeper Feller are two of the most utilized players by manager Sousa.

Sporting Clube is a classic European team. Last season, Sporting dethroned Benfica in the Portuguese League. Just like with Barça's other two Final Four rivals, Sporting had a tough time qualifying for the next round. With players like Benedito and Leitao, both heavyweights in Portugal’s national side, and Deo, a proficient goal scorer, Sporting Clube is a formidable opponent for any club.
