Barça Alusport and Inter Movistar will face off tonight at the Palau Blaugrana in the away leg of the King’s Cup semifinal. The reigning champions of the Spanish Cup and the champions of the Spanish Super Cup will take on their first two-leg tie of the season against each other this evening. “In a match like this, it’s unthinkable that we’d manage a result that would give us tranquility ahead of the return leg. I think it’s pretty difficult for either team to manage a good enough result at the Palau to end the tie. It will be a very even match,” said Marc Carmona.

The Barça Alusport manager believes that Barça and Inter are two teams that can win on any court. However, he’s pleased with his side’s form going into tonight’s match: “the team is doing well. On Saturday we were still recovering from the Cup, but the good news is that I’ll be able to count on all 12 of my players tonight.” Therefore, the squad is completely fit and ready to take on their third clash of the season with the Madrid side. The balance so far is one victory for the Azulgranas, in the semifinals of the Spanish Cup (4-1), and one victory for Inter in the final of the Spanish Super Cup (3-4).

Betao, back in Inter’s squad

Adalberto Nunes da Silva ‘Betao’ is the big addition to Chema Jiménez’s side for tonight’s game at the Palau. The Brazilian has recovered from his muscle injury that he picked up 15 days ago. Besides Betao, the Inter manager has named Amado, Juanju, Rafael, Tobe, Ortiz, Matías, Álvaro, Barería, Hugo, Genario and Eka to his squad.
