Barça Alusport won the first edition of the King’s Cup last May in Toledo, a competition co-organised by LNFS and RFEF, after beating Inter Movistar in an exciting championship match. Six months later, the reigning champions will start their title defense against Agrupación Esortiva Centelles. The fate of both teams were sealed at the round of 32 draw that took place in Madrid today. Barça will play a single game elimination match on December 6th in Centelles.

Agrupación Esortiva Centelles is a team with lots of history that currently plays in Second Division B, two flights below Barça. Overconfidence, however, will not figure into Barça’s game plan seeing that Centelles knocked Playas de Castellón out of the competition in the previous round. The men from Osona were rewarded for their efforts today, their prize: face off against the reigning champions.
