Primer equip de futbol sala

It's time to look back on the year, and for the futsal section, 2011 will go down as historic. The first team won three out of four possible titles. It started with the Spanish Cup, won in Segovia in early February, the first ever national futsal trophy for FC Barcelona. The side masterminded by Javi Rodríguez grew from there, adding the Copa del Rey and Liga. The only title they missed out on was the Spanish Supercup, which they lost to Inter Movistar.

Spanish Cup

In early February, Barça Alusport went to Segovia for the Spanish Cup, which is played by the eight highest placed teams at the half way stage of the league season. FCB made it to the final by beating first  Fisiomedia Manacor and then Caja Segovia. In the final they beat El Pozo Múrcia 3-2 to win the first title of the LNFS era for Barça Alusport.

Copa del Rey

Barça Alusport then won the first ever edition of the Copa del Rey. They made it through the rounds by beating Andorra, Marfis Santa Coloma, Benicarló, Azkar Lugo and finally Inter Movistar in the final. The final saw them make an incredible comeback, with goals from Torras and Lin settling it in the last two minutes.

La Liga

They also won the league title for the first time in 2010/11. The win over Caja Segòvia in game five at the Palau Blaugrana was watched by 7,000 supporters. They made the play-offs as leaders of the regular season with 70 points, five clear of second placed El Pozo Murcia. Before the final against the side from Segovia,  Marc Carmona's side put out both Triman Navarra and Xacobeo Lobelle of Santiago.

Spanish Supercup

Barça Alusport had the chance to make it four out of four in 2011 in the Spanish Supercup played in September at Torrejón de Ardoz. It was the only setback of the year, with Barça losing the final against Inter Movistar 4-3. Barcelona got there by winning the semi final against Pozo Murcia.
