Barça have seen out 2017 with a 101-74 win against a Fuenlabrada side that held on for the first two periods, but succumbed to the Catalan firepower in the second half.

Seraphin and Hanga led the way in a fine week that’s also seen the blaugrana beat Khimki in Russia.

Marko Popovic commanded the home team in style, but for most of the first half the visitors were always able to find some kind of response, and it wasn’t until late in the second period that Barça had finally managed to put ten points between themselves and their rivals.

Fuenlabrada’s grip was lost after the restart, with some devastating basketball from Sito Alonso’s men. Heurtel was firing in from beyond the 3-point live and Seraphin was also scoring heavily as the gap widened to as many as 31 points.

The game was over, and it was a highly convincing way to see out what hasn’t always been the best of years for the basketball team.

2018 begins with a trip to San Sebastian on January 2.
