Ante Tomic was the star of the show with 20 points | VICTOR SALGADO-FCB

FC Barcelona Lassa cruised to victory over Unicaja (89-70) on Sunday evening, dominating throughout the game at the Palau Blaugrana.

It was an attacking spectacle at the start of the game, with Tyrese Rice completing three sets of trebles to give the hosts the lead before a response from the visitors, also via a treble.

Doellman, returning from injury, added to Barça’s attacking fluidity, as the Catalans took control of the game. Tomic was also effective in front of the basket, with 20 points that earned him the VIP prize of the game.

The second period saw another welcome return, that of captain Juan Carlos Navarro, who helped Barça open up a 14-point advantage at the halfway point (49-35).

Early in the third period, Koponen’s treble stretched the home lead to 21 points and, despite reducing the gap to 13, Barça got back on top and ended the game with 19 points more than their opponent.
