Dorsey made a superb return to Palau / VÍCTOR SALGADO-FCB

FC Barcelona Lassa recorded a big win over Olympiacos on Friday (82-66) in their Euroleague Top16 matchup at Palau Blaugrana.

The magnitude of the victory was thanks in large part due to the efficiency of Perperoglou and Satoransky, as well as a fine performance from Dorsey on his return.

The Catalans burst out of the traps as Satoransky made an early basket which was quickly followed by a treble from Navarro. However, the Greeks managed to restore parity by the end of the first quarter (19-19).

It was only in the second period where the Catalans began to break away from their opponent. Spanoulis and Printezis were the two most dangerous players for the visitors but their influence began to wane, allowing Barça to move 14 points ahead going into the break.

The third quarter saw the Catalans flex their offensive muscles, with Oleson, Perperoglou and Satoransky nailing back-to-back trebles to take the team’s advantage to over 20.

Dorsey, who was making his second debut for the club after rejoining on loan from Galatasaray until the end of the season, had a superb game with 12 points and eight rebounds, helping Barça convincingly wrap up the match 82 points to 66.
