Satoransky was named MVP of the 28th Liga Endesa game / VICTOR SALGADO - FCB

FC Barcelona Lassa bounced back from European exit to Lokomotiv Kuban with an 89-68 win on Friday in a rescheduled match at home to Laboral Kutxa. They were led by Satoransky and Samuels, with 16 and 14 points each, while Bourossis took 18 for the Basque visitors.

Start to finish

Both teams looked cold in a low-scoring start to the game, but Tomic, Doellman and Satoransky had managed to establish a 9-point lead with three minutes of the first period to go. And things had got even better by the end of the opening ten minutes: 17-6.

The second period couldn’t have beneifited Catalan interests more. Up it went to 24-8 (+16), before the mistakes started creeping into the Barça game and Laboral Kutxa flew back into things at 27-19. Shane Lawal helped open the gap again, but a fine three from Bertrans on the buzzer meant there were just seven points in it by the break (37-30).

Tomic and Samuels dominate the paint

Tomic and Samuels stood out in the second half, and their scoring helped build up an ultimately unassailable margin. At +18, it was as good as game over, and Navarro and Doellman claimed 3-pointers to rub salt into the wounds of Laboral Kutxa (64-50).

The final ten minutes were about playing down the clock. A Samuels 2+1, and then another almost immediately after helped do just that and the final score of 89-68 leaves Barça Lassa top of the regular season table.
