Satoransky takes on the Brose Baskets defence / VÍCTOR SALGADO - FCB

FC Barcelona Lassa edged a step closer to the quarter-finals of the Euroleague following a 75-57 win over Brose Baskets at the Palau Blaugrana on Thursday.

Barca made a dominant start to the game, though the scoreline did not reflect the balance of play. Xavi Pascual’s side ended the first quarter 18-12 ahead, though they merited a larger cushion.

It was in the second period where the Catalans came to life. Spearheaded by the on-form trio of Doellman, Satoransky and Dorsey, Barça raced to a 43-23 lead going into the half-time break.

Tomic and Abrines showed their quality in the third quarter, though there was no big difference between the two teams (59-41).

By the fourth quarter, the sizeable margin between the two teams meant that the Germans looked to have accepted defeat, as Barça made a step closer to the last eight of the competition.
