FC Barcelona Lassa basketball lost their first game of the season in the Liga Endesa against Laboral Kutxa. Xavi Pascual's men, after playing well in Europe, fell in overtime. Laboral got 24 points from Darius Adams, who was lethal in OT. Perperoglou paced Barça with 20 points, while Ante Tomic added 14.

Barça didn't score a basket until the game was five minutes old, but Perperoglou then scored six of the team's first eight points. Adams, however, was better. He finished the first quarter with 13.

While Tomic and Bourousis fought it out under the boards, the game turned into a three-point shootout. Barça went on a 14–0 run that gave them the lead at 28-21. But Adams drew Laboral to within three before the half.

The game see-sawed through much of the third quarter, which ended with the score tied at 52–52. Both teams put up 21 points in the fourth to send the game to overtime tied at 73 all.

Two quick Barça turnovers gave Laboral easy baskets and led to an 81-73 lead. The Catalans were unable to claw back, however, snapping a ten-game winning streak.
