Bostjan Nachbar's contract expires

Bostjan Nachbar will no longer be playing basketball for FC Barcelona. The Slovenian power forward played two seasons with the Club. FC Barcelona wishes to acknowledge Nachbar's valuable contribution and to wish him luck in the future.

Two years in Barcelona

Nachbar came from Brose Basket in Germany to FC Barcelona for the 2013/14 season. In this first season with the  Club he played 28 games in the Euroleague, averaging 8 points and 3 rebounds while helping the team reach the Final Four. Nachbar also provided experience during FC Barcelona's league title run where he put up numbers similar to what he did against European competition, averaging 8 points and 3 rebounds in 17 minutes per game. Barça won the ACB League and the Catalan League that season.

In the 2014/15 season, Nachbar played an average of 12 minutes and scored 5 points per game in the Euroleague. In the ACB League he averaged six minutes and 2.3 points per game in 73 regular season and playoff games.
