FC Barcelona's Technical Secretary Joan Creus and Basketball Director Joan Blade came Wednesday to the Palau Blaugrana to officially present Tomas Satoransky and Tibor Pleiss, two of the team's four signings for the upcoming season.

Both Blade and Creus highlighted the new signees' experience in spite of their young ages. Satoransky is 24 and Pleiss is 22.  Both were signed to two-year contracts.

Creus said he thinks the both players are great additions. "They are young but the have a lot of experience at the top level."

Pleiss has played two seasons in the Euroleage while Satoransky played a lot of minutes in the Liga. Creus also explained that Pleiss's height at the center position would be intimidating around the basket and allow him make high-percentage shots and be solid from the free throw line.

Satoransky on the other hand, is a guard who brings physical strength and smart decision making to the team. "We just hope he keeps getting better just like he did at Sevilla," Creus said. "This is one of the tallest teams we've ever had, and hopefully one of the best."

Both players spoke about the excitement they had in coming to Barça.

"To be able to come and play here makes this one of the best days of my life," Satoransky admitted. He said he knows how tough it is going to be because the team always expects to win. But, he added, "I am going to work as hard as I can so we can reach our goals."

“I feel good. We're starting to get to know our teammates, and now we can just focus on working hard."

The new guard also talked about what he brings to the court. He said his height was key. "I think I have an advantage over other guards. And I want to work with Marcelinho to make a good duo." But he really wanted to talk about how "coming to this team where all the players are stars is just incredible."

"I think for any young player, playing in the Euro league is a dream come true."

For Pleiss, coming to Barcelona after two outstanding seasons at Laboral Kutxa has made him refocus on winning championships. "I want to fight for all the titles and win them, especially the Final Four. And I definitely think we have one of the best teams in Europe and we can do it."

When Pleiss was asked about his play he said that he was "similar to Tomic, so will be able to adapt to each other pretty easily." He also said he was a fighter who gives 100% at both ends of the floor.
