Barça go 2-0 in the best-of-five semi-final series with Unicaja after a 91-70 win at the Palau. Satoransky led the scoring with 19 points and Tomic also played a pivotal role in the victory.

The game got off to a tight start and the first period ended level (23-23). But an 8-0 streak in the second period saw Barça pick up a commanding lead (50-33).

The difference between the two sides really started to show after the break, with Àlex Abrines impressing with some spectacular 3-point shooting and Mario Hezonja showing his class with an amazing slam-dunk.

No worries

The Catalans found themselves eighteen up at 61-43 and yet there was still time to further extend their lead. Doellman in defence and Tibor Pleiss on the paint particularly started to shine, but the latter finished the game with ankle trouble.

By the final period, it was already clear which side was going to win this game, and it all ended 91-70 to FC Barcelona. Next Wednesday 10 June at 9.00pm CET game three takes the sides to the Martín Carpena, where a win would be enough to ensure Barça’s passage into the final.
