Xavi Pascual's side show their form against the side from Málaga in the first game of the semi-final league play off

[[DES_1]]Barça have begun their league play off semi-final in electrifying form with a resounding win over opponents Unicaja at the Palau. Xavi Pascual’s side are on course for the Endesa League final after victory in the first game against the team from Málaga. At half time the blaugranes were up by 20 points, a lead that was stretched to 31 points at the end with the home side running out winners 91-60.

Satoransky scored the first basket of the game and also recorded a three pointer just before half-time to give the blaugranes a comfortable lead at the break 49-29. The 20 point difference was a true reflection of what was happening on court: Barça dominated in every area against a Unicaja who struggled on offense.

The visitors’ woes continued in the second half. Barça'S advantage continued to grow to such an extent that a wonderful alley-oop from Navarro and Satoransky put them 39 points up at 86-47. Unicaja added a little bit of respectability to the scoreline before the end but the blaugranes have the edge ahead of the second game of the play off at the Palau on Sunday at 12.40pm CET.
