This Friday evening, at the Palau, in the game against Olympiakos, Juan Carlos Navarro will become the player who has played more matches in the history of the Euroleague. Navarro, at 33, is playing in his 13th season in the top European competition, and against the Greek team will play in his 253rd Euroleague game, overtaking the previous record held by Theo Papaloukas.

The Navarro legend doesn't end just in the nuber of games played, but grows even more when we look at his carreer stats. Two time winner of the Euroleague (2003 and 2010, where he was voted MVP), the Catalan shooting guard is also leader in other competition facets: Number of points (3,416), valuation (3,269), triples scored (484), successful free throws (700) anf field goals (1,111), amongst others.

Also, in the 2008/09 season, a year after his return from the NBA, he was voted Euroleague MVP and has been in the competition's best ideal team on five occasions (2005/06, 2006/07, 2008/09, 2009/10 and 2010/11) and in the second ideal team twice (2011/12, 2012/13). His best total points scored in a match in the Euroleague was 32 points - 2006 season against Zalgiris - a game where his valuation reached 35 points.
