It wasn’t an easy decision given how well Barça Regal played throughout the whole competition, but in the end it was Pete Mickeal who was named MVP of the tournament. The North American player, who averaged 15 points and 3 rebounds per match in the competition, was undoubtedly one of the leaders of the team. In the final, Mickeal scored 14 points and captured 3 rebounds.
After Barça Regal claimed the titled, the Blaugrana shared his award with his teammates: “we’re a great team, all of the players played really well. We were very eager.” According to Mickeal, “we were ready for a tough match, we were very focused ... We worked hard and we’re improving on a daily basis.”
